"Never Learned to Dance" was my first solo album release after spending years playing in various bands as a jobbing musician. This album is more diverse in it's influences than Elbow Grease - I was trying to showcase all the styles of music that had an effect on me as a player over the years.

"Elbow Grease", on the other hand, is more about what I play on a day-to-day basis. There is a strong blues influence on this album and the overall feel is a lot more "rootsy". One of my students Colin Watts also plays on this album. He contributed a solo and all the harmony parts on "My Shout". Cheers Col!
