Classic Solo Tabs

In this section of the site you will find a number of classic rock solos tabbed out. Unlike many of the tabs found on the internet I haven't skipped or glossed over any of the tricky parts - if it's in the solo, it's in the tab and as far as I'm concerned these tabs are 100% accurate.

The whole point of learning other players' improvised solos is that it gives you a good idea of what you can do with the scales yourself. Every lick that you learn from someone else, be it Eddie Van Halen or the bloke jamming down your local pub, should be understood then transposed into all 12 keys and incorporated into your vocabulary of phrases.

To learn a solo simply click on it's name to get the tab, an explanation of the scales & theory involved, as well as a demonstration of the solo and a backing track.

Have Fun.
